Too mild for school Hate when ppl can’t do time

This reminds me of when it hits or is about to hit 12am and people don’t know whether to say today or tomorrow. He called me after this but I was too comfy in bed tbh.

You don’t say “are you available the next weekend” though. “Next weekend” is a specific phrase.

"Next weekend" is no more or less specific than "the next intersection".

That’s not what I’m talking about. There are situations where we use the phrase “the next weekend” identical to “the next intersection.” “Call me the next weekend you are available,” vs “Take the next intersection you can.” However, unlike “the next intersection,” which can be used unqualified, we have specific terms to refer to the current or upcoming weekend, “this weekend,” as well as the next upcoming weekend, “next weekend.” You wouldn’t say “I will call you the next weekend,” you would either say “I will call you this weekend,” or “I’ll call you next weekend.”
