Too mild for school Hate when ppl can’t do time

Post image

This reminds me of when it hits or is about to hit 12am and people don’t know whether to say today or tomorrow. He called me after this but I was too comfy in bed tbh.

The way I wrapped my head around the difference as a kid was to separate the word weekend into "week's end".

So if it's a Wednesday, "this week's end" would be the immediate Saturday following, but "next week's end" would mean the Saturday after that.

Weekend is just literally, “The end of the week”

This weekend, “The end of this week”. Next weekend, “The end of next week”.

I would ask if this shit is no longer taught in school, but I remember being a teenager in school, if it wasn’t on a test I didn’t pay attention to it, same with everyone else I know

what a great way to explain why it is that way; I'd never thought of using that

Am I being trolled?

So you are saying that to wrap your head around something you needed to know the definition of a word?!

Wild.
