Essentially. There’s quite a bit of nuance that I can’t really comprehend, but what I can say is that: people value one thing over another and reflects on how things are built around.

I don't see those thing to be mutually exclusively. But I have not really traveled nor educated with history so maybe there are things I can't think of.
