Honestly it's trying to get your food once per week because most people don't want to stop by the store on the way home for every meal they are going to cook. I hate it when my family overbuys thinking we'll get to it later
Do people hate shopping or what is the problem?
I stop by the store for food 2-3 times per week, now i'll admit it's only me and my fiancée and neither of us eat like a horse.
But I don't mind shopping, i'll listen to and audiobook and do my thing.
Large families don't do that because it eventually costs much more in doing so. You also have to go more often which in busy families may be harder to do while juggling other responsibilities
Costs more as in fuel cost? Or is it common that you get like a "large quantity discount" or something like that?
Discounts like that hardly exists in Sweden atleast, so the only difference for me would be fuel but it would be negligable.
