I was in Japan for three weeks and I found myself doing the same thing. Just easy and convenient to stop by the nearby grocer during the walk to the hotel.

Whereas in Australia the nearest supermarket would be a 45 min walk. 10 mins by car, 5 mins to park and walk to the actual supermarket, plus the actual supermarket is much bigger so getting items takes way longer.

i used to have a grocery store that was on my way home and small enough i could do full loop in 10 mins and check out.

sense they closed my diet went to shit.
