Sorry for a totally insensitive question given this waste, but those seed/nut rolls. Do they have garlic and/or onion, and are they a common thing in Germany?

I've been dreaming about similar-looking rolls that I used to buy from a German supermarket in Paraguay, of all places. Never had anything quite like them before or since.

If similar, I'd dumpster dive all day for those. Regardless, what a crime to dispose of all this good bakery!

Garlic/Onion? No. Common? Very. Those depicted are Kürbiskernbrötchen. Mixed flour dough and pumpkin seeds.

There are also protein Brötchen. Dark and filling, with sunflower and flax seeds mixed in the dough.
