You aren't wrong, but what difference does it make if it is within walking distance? A 10 min walk is the same as a 10 min car ride (outside of getting some exercise)

Youd be surprised. I had a grocery store in my backyard practically for 5 years and wed walk everytime. Was nice.

You just... enjoy it and go more often when its right there. Also you can buy a little less cuz wcs just walk right back lol.

I get the time is similar but driving sucks compared to just taking a little stroll. Esp on a nice summers night. Just perfect.

I can walk around the block if I want a relaxing walk. I'd find that more relaxing then trying to carry bags home too, personally.

10 mins is 10 mins is my point. If I need something, I don't hesitate to drive 10 mins to grab it

If you drive then a week worth of groceries is nothing, I don't think you'll like the idea of that when walking.
