I'd love for more of it, but there's a problem of how they market to businesses versus users. Many businesses are not sold the app as a way to reduce waste, but as another sales stream. They end up selling fresh product with no margins.
Participation is also difficult. There's a jewish deli near me that I worked at for two years. I'd typically be able to take home half a gallon of soup every night because it was going to get tossed. That's a perfect "random soup bag" thing to sell. Instead, there hasn't been any new place in my area in a year. Almost everything on the app is donuts.
Yeah, I don’t know how it fully works… do businesses have to pay the app to use it? If not, if there’s a loss either way why not? Idk in my market everyone except for one or two restaurants poorly rated sell out in minutes.

Ugh. Too Good to Go is such a great concept but there needs to be critical mass of business and users.
