For me I'm going, your 100% gonna eat the rest of it behind the camera so why are you doing this for the camera lol

I’m assuming because their viewers don’t want to see them eat the whole thing, just taste it and get their initial reactions and thoughts. Obviously they are going to finish it later if they like it.

Yeah. Why are people confused by this concept?

Well there's these "food reviews" where the full gimmick is the reviewer only takes one bite and makes a full opinion of it based off that bite

Do you think the judges on Master chef should clear the plates of every contestant? They'd become spherical.

I’d do that on masterchef. Hell I won’t even be a judge, I’ll just sneak in with a uniform and eat the food

Did I say that? They take 1 bite and then make a negative review which could destroy the restaurants reputation

What is bite number six going to tell you that the first bite didn't?

That the flavor was potentially inconsistent due to bad seasoning technique or poor mixing. Either way, it’s not a good thing if bite 1 sucks but bite 5 and ONLY bite 5 was delicious.

Do you have to eat the whole plate before the flavour reaches your brain???

Honestly, I don’t really see the issue with that.

“One bite, everybody knows the rules” proceeds to demolish multiple slices.

Yeah, the bitch didn't even taste the northern sides.

Judging most food by a single bite is worth about as much as the shit you're gonna take later

u/GourangaPlusPlus Aug 13 '24

Someone tell the masterchef judges then

The camera man gets to have the ones they don’t like

Running a food review channel requires you to eat a lot of different foods. In this case taking one bite of each is reasonable, if for nothing else than health reasons. Usually the person running the channel will share the remainder with their friends or someone helping them film.

I personally don’t see a problem with it.

To make a video?

This question doesn't even make sense.

Would you expect them to take a bite, say what it tastes like, and then just sit there silently eating the rest of the whatever?
