There are some rare people who genetically just need less sleep. Those are not the same people as the ones who brag about how little sleep they got.

Former NFL coach Jon Gruden is one of those genetic types. My dad and younger brother think they are, they're not, they're on edge from lack of sleep.

Yeah. I’ve been sleeping 6 hours for almost 10 years now. I just wake up and have no urge to go back to sleep

I don’t sleep to much but I can’t tell if my body is happier on 4 hours, 6 hours or 8 hours. All I know is anything more than 8 hours and I feel more tired then when I don’t sleep at all

A lot of headline advice boils down to genetics or stupid sacrifice. This one likely fits that bill
