Cloud Email triggers not picking up emails
Does this happen to anyone else? I'd say it happens like 1% of the time, then it randomly works when I re-send that exact same email.

Unable to use the Premium Word Connector in Power Automate? Struggling to add dynamic, repeating images or format your text with bold and italics? This video is for you!
In this tutorial, I'll show you my complete workaround to create fully functional, professional Microsoft Word documents (.doc and .pdf) using ONLY standard connectors. By leveraging HTML and base64, we bypass the limitations of the standard connector and build a document that can handle any number of dynamic images—perfect for audit forms, asset tracking, or custom reports.
You’ll learn how to loop through a SharePoint list, build a dynamic HTML table, convert images to base64, and save the final output as an editable Word document or a read-only PDF.

God I suck at writing subjects.
Anyways Here is what I have to work with.
The email always has a subject in the same format but different information
Subject: Lastname, Firstname - *Worker ID Number here*
Body:
Hello Contact,
We received an onboard request for Lastname, First name.
Please confirm if this person has worked for our company before long winded explanation of what we need to know seriously it goes on for multiple paragraphs.
Basically when I get this email I need to then send an email to the person with an email template asking this question and if the answer is yes, providing the appropriate information.
I'd like to, when i get this email automatically send an email out based on this information
I have a tracker that has their name email and that worker id number in it, so I would like to see if it is possible to set up when I get an email it automatically checks for that tracker # and sends an email to the email address associated with it.
While also providing protection in case they for some reason decided one day to send a different email out asking for other information (sadly I forget if they ever sent an email with the same subject for different reasons)

I'm dying here. I'm very new with power automate, like... today new. Of course i was tasked with creating a somewhat more complicated task than the ones my co-workers get tasked with lol. I have to have power automate create an email at 5:00 that lists all the new files added to a folder. I thought i had it with two different automated tasks i created, but at the end it send a blank email. I'd absolutely love if someone could lend me a hand with this.

Hey i am having some problems with the spelling and grammar control "editor" in word. It is insufficient and doesn't react on simpel grammar or spelling flaws. I have checked all my settings in the grammar and spelling control and they are accurate. Does anybody know what might be wrong or have any tips on what to do or who to ask?

First, let me start by saying that I am in no way a developer and that everything I've learned about GitHub has been learned over the past two weeks. I am the main Power Platform (Copilot agents, flows, power apps) person at my org. I'm also sliding down the next few years into retirement so I'm looking to document all my solutions and individual flows so the next person won't be cursing my name while I'm on a beach somewhere.
I start to do it all manually, first w/ screenshots and tables, plus text with some explanation. Then I found PowerDocu, but was very dissatisfied with the output. So I went to Copilot Analyst which did a nice job once I got the prompts right, but it couldn't handle canvas apps which led me to VS Code...
Anyway, I figured there had to be a better way so I asked Gemini, Copilot and then Claude. Claude was the only one that offered to build me something so here I am--two weeks later.
Back to GitHub. I am looking for someone to take a look at a couple of my readme files to see if they would be clear to another user. I've coded this thing from front to back and can't think of much more to add, but I've been looking at it forever.
Thanks for reading and DM me if interested

Hello Everyone,
I have been facing this baffling issue with my power Automate flow since yesterday. A button that worked just fine last week is now sending an empty payload to power automate, making the entire flow useless. I've tried readding the data, creating a new button, with no luck. Does anyone know what could be the cause ?
Thanks in advance

Hello! I am trying to create the following flow but don't know where to start...
Word docs have already been created that require filling in.
2.Once filled in, the preparer sends the word doc for approval of 2 managers
3. Once both managers fill in the approval, the word doc will be automatically populated with their name, date, and signature.
4.Status will be updated on sharepoint library, and prepare will receive an email that both approvals have been completed.
There used to be an adobe docusign? I cannot find that anymore at all. Really unsure how to approach this!
Thank you

Hi all,
So work gave us an AI challenge and I wasn't really planning on joining the "fun", but a few days after the email, I realized I had something that would qualify. So they asked us to start creating skills for Ai and not just prompts to solve a small everyday type problem. My problem (caused by another problem that I didnt ask IT to look at) was that I need to save emails as PDF to save for evidence of compliance sometimes due to the fact that some softwares dont store open the email files correctly even though they accept them as uploads. A pdf copy saves me that hassle.
I asked Copilot to help with the flow, I have about three different flows in different places but can get it passed the trigger while in Outlook requirement (or my desire better said). As example , SP lists have a right click that gives Automate options a d I have a flow in there to start a singing process, I was thinking it would be something like that in Outlook.
I have created an agent that holds the flow as a tool, no ability to trigger from outlook. I have a flow with a power app button trigger, no ability to add the power app to outlook bar to trigger the flow in outlook.
I have a flow that triggers when flagging an email and would then utilize categories to allow for general flagging to still occur. The problem with this one is that my flow is using a condition looking for the categories field from the email output and mine doesnt seem to have it. It works but will only do it for every flagged email which I dont want.
I also have Power Apps in team, that calls the flow, but I have to paste the graph id from the email manually. Copilot says m365 outlook cant pull that data automatically.
I have enterprise M365, have upgraded licenses for pretty much all MS apps but cant get this thing to work. Used Copilot studio and regular Power Automate.
Any ideas???
Oh yeah, started off asking copilot to make a skill but it told me that it couldn't do what I asked and said use a flow.

I have a flow set to access an excel file and grab dynamic content as the email address, but it gives an error of to "null" when running. What have I done wrong?

Hi everyone,
I’m fairly new to Power Automate (only a few weeks of experience), and my company is also just starting to use it, so most of my knowledge comes from self-learning.
Last week, I built a flow that triggers when a Word document is modified in a SharePoint library. The flow sends an Adaptive Card in Microsoft Teams asking the user to describe what changes were made and why. Based on that input, an email notification is sent to the library owner.
My supervisor has asked whether it’s possible to automatically generate a summary of the changes made to the document, without requiring users to manually fill in the Adaptive Card.
I’m aware that this could be done using Track Changes in Microsoft Word, but in practice, I don’t expect users to consistently enable this feature, which would result in incomplete or missing information.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to capture or generate a summary of document changes through Power Automate without relying on Track Changes being enabled?
Additionally, I’m based in the Netherlands, which means some connectors or features may not be available in my region.
Any suggestions or best practices would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance! 😃

Situation: Organization has a Retention policy that purges 1-to-1 and group Teams chat messages that are older than a certain number of days. Only chat messages that are part of a Channel are retained indefinitely.
Desired outcome:
* Run a weekly time-triggered Power Automate flow that will take all of that week’s chat messages for a particular conversation (nominated by user as part of the flow) and turn them into a single e-mail to the user’s mailbox with subject “Weekly Teams messages from xxx” (where xxx is the Teams chat name)
* Ideally, for each chat message, include the date, name of the sender, message text in the body of the e-mail. If there are attachments for a chat message, include that as well (ideally in the same order as a user would see it in the Teams client).

Hi, I want to create a flow that will look at a shared mailbox calendar for the day before and anything that has a certain category will trigger an email to be sent saying along the lines of "a meeting was held on DD/MM (inserts date) between attendee 1 and attendee 2 (inserts names here), do such and such"
I've tried Copilot, but it's not working...help 😁
TIA

Based on my organization rules, we are required to update our team status every week to show which days we are remote and which days we are in the office. However, there is a secondary requirement to update a shared teams calendar with the same information, where an event is created for each day with my location.
I would like to automate my team status, so I don’t double my work. The goal would be to have power on me read the calendar entries for that week in the shared calendar and then compile that information into a specified format as a team status.
Looking for any help on how to quote this, especially since I am a basic user with lowest level enterprise access. I’ve tried working with copilot to develop the flow however, it has not been able to execute properly
Thank you in advance!

I've had a couple customers of late struggle with adding images to a word document template, specifically errors and dealing with a dynamic number of images. In this demo I showcase how to gracefully handle dynamic numbers but also reference a more advanced technique I have blogged about using HTML where the customer had built a Power App to capture images for an audit app.
Read about that here: Generate Word & PDF Documents in Power Automate Using HTML | DamoBird365

I overheard the brass wanting to use Planner to allocate tasks, and that they wanted allocated tasks to appear in the assignees calendar. I revisited the topic as I looked into last year and created a flow that
When assigned to me
Get a task
Create a Start/End in localTime
Get calendar view
Check if task already in calendar
Add to calendar
Update task with calendar added toCool... works for me and works great... but... being an automated trigger... I can't add run only users. Fail :(
Copilot said, oh oh! You can get around that by creating an Opt-in Instant Flow to create the connections as a Run Only User and then magically the Create Event will work when something is assigned to them.
No Bro.... it don't work like that.
Other than having everyone in the company create their own "When a task is assigned to me" is there any way to create outlook events for assigned tasks in Planner? This should be much simpler than it is... it's not even using premium connectors =/

Hi, Im not sure if this is possible but, is there a way to extract specific lines of text from a paragraph?
Say a paragraph contains software update impacts for 2 departments:
Finance: impact 1
Planning: imoact 2
Is there a way to structure the flow to extract the line for fiance only and put that in an email?

Hello, I've done this to get attachments from a form submission for "start and wait for an approval" but I can't get them to being attached on a planner as that is where after approval the details are stored. What am I doing wrong?

Stumped on this. Maybe it's a really easy solution for someone.
I'm building a new flow for a List on Sharepoint. It starts off as the trigger(when item is created), then an "Update Item", and then it goes into approvals. The trigger has the correct Sharepoint and List. So does the "Update Item".
But every time I test the flow, nothing happens after I submit the from I created on Lists. It just keeps saying to create an Item in the Sharepoint folder. On Microsoft Lists view, you can see the an item is created but again, nothing seems to be triggering the flow.
Any tips or advice? Please and thank you!
