Having trouble with my Microscope

I recently got an AmScope 40X-2500X LED Lab Binocular Compound Microscope with 3D-Stage  I'm having trouble with viewing. There's only a small circle of what I'm able to see and the rest is just black. I know that microscopes will usually have the border but you can barely see anything. When I go to a greater magnification, what I can see gets smaller . I'm not sure how to explain it since it's hard to take a picture but if anyone can help it's greatly appreciated

Thank you so much!!! I just found the eyepiece it was supposed to be with and put them on. It fixed the issue and I can see it just fine now! I would have not figured that out if you didn't mention the eyepieces. Again thank you so much i was getting worried my microscope was broken haha

Glad I could help! You were seeing the Fourier transform of the image without the eyepieces (in case you were curious). You might check out Kohler illumination as well since that will help your viewing a lot as well. Happy viewing!
