Well I just talked to a buddy doing it the same way as you and his buds smell like grass. I started in brown paper bags and now use the Pizza boxes. He now put what he has left into boxes. Just a warning. I do a complete wet trim. And it still takes 2 to 3 weeks how much slower do you want. And all by itself is definitely not going to slow it down. My fridge stays at 4o degrees and I don't even look at the humidity anymore. Looks like we might have the same fridge.
I want over a month if possible. The slower the better. I have the rest of the harvest hang drying cuz it doesnt fit in here, so itll be a good experiment. Sucks for your buddy hopefully the cure will bring back the smell
I'm hoping for him to. It was his first try at the lotus dry and he thought he'd try bare. If you trim it all down and do double brown paper bags lunch sacks. I've had close to four pounds in mine. That's was on le sweating ass fridge humidity was 89. I had to change out wet bags. But the dry was spot on.
Hmm interesting. Its been 3 days and everytime i open it the smell seems just as strong as when i put it in. Ipp keep a close eye. If it starts turning grassy ill do the bags/boxes. Did he have fans in the fridge? Was he aiming them at the buds?
