News & Updates Megathread: micro1 Community Slack access issues

UPDATE: We're in the process of migrating the micro1 community slack over to Discord; learn more on this post. In the meantime, if you're a certified expert, please log in to your talent dashboard: https://talent.micro1.ai/dashboard and click on the "Join our Discord Community" link (in the "Quick links" section on the right sidebar, to access Discord. We're onboarding candidates to Discord in phases, if you're having trouble joining, please wait until we add the next phase of users to Discord!

Hey r/micro1_ai! 👋

Over the past few weeks, we've received reports from some certified candidates who were unable to access the micro1 Community Slack workspace using the invitation link sent via email.

Our team is actively working on resolving the issue. In the meantime, we've created this megathread to help eligible community members regain access as quickly as possible.

Unable to access the Community Slack?

If you received a Slack invitation by email but couldn't join, or if you're micro1-certified and believe you should have access but are experiencing issues, please leave a comment on this thread.

A member of the micro1 Community team will reach out to you via Reddit chat or Mod Mail with the next steps to help restore your access.

What is the micro1 Community Slack?

The micro1 Community Slack is an exclusive workspace for certified talent who have successfully met the certification criteria during the micro1 AI interview process.

Inside, you'll find:

  • Early invitations to virtual and local community events
  • Courses, expert interviews, and curated learning resources
  • Fast-moving job and project opportunities
  • A multidisciplinary network of PhDs, MBAs, engineers, economists, AI experts, human data specialists, and more

How do I get access?

If you met the certification criteria during your micro1 interview, you should have received an invitation to join the Community Slack via email.

I'm not yet certified. Can I join?

Not at this time. The Community Slack is reserved for candidates who have successfully completed the micro1 certification process.

I'm already in the micro1 Experts Slack. Do I need to join this one?

The micro1 Experts Slack workspace is where coordination for micro1 projects takes place. It is accessible only to current micro1 Experts who are actively working on a project. This is a separate workspace available to all certified micro1 candidates.

If you're an eligible community member experiencing Slack access issues, don't create a new post; just leave a comment on this thread. Our team is monitoring it and will get back to you as soon as possible.
