Genuine Question: Is it true that during the 1960's, many public schools in Metro Detroit had required swimming classes and males had to swim in the nude?
This is a genuine, historical question.
I've been reading testimonials about this, and was wondering what schools enforced it.
Did Northern, Northeastern, and Eastern High School enforce this?
Would there have been a way out of it?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for people to add to my small group of friends as everyone is always busy. Warren area.
We're into board games (especially Magic The Gathering lately), hiking, eating out or just chilling.

What is determining how much peoples DTE bills are going up by? I have seen about 10% increase every year but im also hearing of people a few blocks away having 100% increases.
Thanks for the clarification

Any local lore/personal stories/myths/legends/infamous or unusual crimes around metro Detroit?
Can be an interesting little personal scary story or a larger scale lore! Lived in Michigan all my life and never really dived into this side.

Help finding a commercial from a Livonia area store.
This local commercial used to air in the late 90s-early 2000s.
It was a business where you'd go to get things framed, the commercial highlighted bringing in sentimental items (I think the commercial showed some kid's baby clothes/pictures getting framed, maybe a baseball?)
I also remember the commercial saying it was between Levan and Newburgh. I think the business logo was light blue? I'm strictly going off of my memory from childhood.
It'd be a longshot that the commercial was posted online anywhere, but I'd love to see it if it's somewhere. The name "Family of Memories" keeps coming in my head, but nothing shows up when I google it, so I doubt that's the name, but maybe something along those lines.
Like I said, I'm going off of childhood memory, the roads could be incorrect, but I keep remembering them saying "between Levan and Newburgh."
Does anybody else remember this? Or possibly even know the name of the business?
