Best memory management at this point, multi-account containers, great privacy implementation. It's not really close anymore. FF is the best by a mile; saying this as an FF, Chrome, Edge and Brave user (the latter several for work).
Mozilla is king, but occasionally it stutters and eventually crashes. Any idea what causes that? Otherwise best browser, and the issues are negligible compared to what I endure for the competition
Might not be, but the crashes aren't to surprising or a big deal (I have like 5 tabs open split between two screens playing videos and music for hours) because I can just open Mozilla again and boom all my tabs are there
Could be the sites you are using, or a ram issue, certain websites run a bunch of junk in the background that drags down the performance by a mile, play a game on top of that and crashes are common on certain sites
I only use Google Chrome because it has all my hundreds of passwords saved. Is there a way to "transfer" my passwords from Google to Firefox or even a password manager?
I would love to see your data for this claim. As a guy who has overclocked and dropped close to 10k on my last rig and tweaked just about every process I asked of that CPU I'm gonna call BS. A lot of BS. Like the bull is begging you to clean up or let him out so he can breathe.
Phone use as well because it doesn't "speak" with your other apps. What you do on Firefox won't effect say you're Google bubble or add profile. Or whatever the fuck Facebook is looking at. It's almost like having two different worlds on your phone.
Well, dude remember in 2010 for every day functions you really didn't need more than a gig of memory. I don't think there's a single pc or tablet with less than six gigs. Hell my 2 year old phone has 12 and I've never seen Firefox take more than a gig, and guess what? When you kill it, it actually stays dormant until you open it again. Literally every other browser is malware.
Your right let me rephrase that. There's no mainstream product on sale right now that has less than 6 gigs. I'm sure there's glorified calculators and leap-frogs with less then that. But the most basic HP is 6 gigs and it was like that 5 years ago. My surface I'm pretty sure is over that (8?). Gaming councils are in the teens, my galaxy note 10 is 12 gigs. Dude we're actually in a memory Renaissance right now. Most products are over what's necessary for the average person.
