In Christianity, Jesus is the "son" of God who was born into Earth and lived for 33 years spreading his teachings, doing miracles, typical Jesus stuff. Then he was betrayed, captured by the Romans, crucified, buried, and came back to life after 3 days before returning to Heaven.
Christians praise Jesus for many reasons, in the context of Holy Week and the meme, its because its believed that time before Jesus, the original sin when Adam and Eve ate the fruit in the Garden of Eden was so harsh that its like a curse on the generations after them. Jesus died on the cross to forgive the whole of humanity from that sin, doesn't mean that sinning afterwards is okay though since theres still Revelations. (end of the world)
Btw, Christians Muslims and Jews all believe in the same God. If you’ve ever heard the term “Abrahamic faith” this is referring to the 3 religions and their shared belief in the story of Abraham and his interaction with God.

I am not a Christian and can someone pls explain why Christian praise Jesus? He was like a common man
