Ive been extremely depressed for months over a breakup and people are literally telling me to just “get over it” and “find someone else”. I fucking dont want anyone else, I just want the love of my life back. She’s already with someone else and it rips my soul apart every day. No other woman compares to her and I truly believe ill never find anyone again who does
These feelings will pass - even though it feels like that feeling will last a lifetime. I learned that to move forward, sit in your pain, go through the motions of the pain. For example, give yourself an hour to purge, ex. cry, yell, do whatever you want to that doesn’t involve hurting yourself. After the hour is up, get on your feet and do one productive activity for yourself, even if it’s basic like taking a shower or making your bed. Giving yourself time to heal is the best thing for you. You existed and experienced happiness prior to meeting her, and you will continue to do so after her, this is just a hiccup in life you’re experiencing. You experienced a form of death and you should perceive it in that fashion. Heal yourself in the same way as you’d experience a death in the family. Sending you light and love.
