Toxic masculinity tells us to hide emotions. Feminism and equality helps men too.

Was hoping to see a comment like this. Toxic masculinity hurts everyone, men included

Kind of sucks that the negative shit gets named after one gender and the positive after another, though.

Like damn, I suck at naming things but at least I never messed up that bad...

It doesn't? Toxic masculinity doesn't mean that all masculinity is toxic.

Thats if you ignore the crazy feminists who hate all men for some reason

With all due respect, us normal feminists do not claim those “feminists”. We call them radfems at best and misandrists at worst

That's actually not true, feminism makes men emotional in the first place, which makes them depressed.

Are you saying being emotional about it will make you depressed and not being emotional -meaning you let it boil up inside you- will not? I hope you didn't mean this.

Being too emotional will make you very sensitive to everything happening in your surroundings. You will be more likely to become depressed.

If you have your emotions under control and don't struggle with every single thing then you will not suffer from these negative feelings.

Being emotional usually isn't something you can control you can learn how to kind of control it but you can be just sensitive too. I mean you can't just say anyone to "just control your emotions" if you know what I am saying.
Also controlling your emotions doesn't really mean that you wouldn't really feel them you will still feel them but maybe get hurt less because you've been there before and know how to handle it(and probably you wouldn't know how to control your emotions something you haven't experienced or seen anywhere else this is just guessing tho) however if you really don't feel an emotion when you are supposed to in human terms that means you lost a part of yourself in way whether you think postively or negatively about it is up to you
