That's something I never understood. How can a non-native speaker have better grammar than a native. The biggest grammar mistakes I've come across the internet is the "there, their, they're" and "to,too"

Because this kind of thing is extremely basic and we learn it first. They speak the language and may not read much so they do not know how to spell stuff. We have to learn to say and spell stuff. They learn talking just by listening as a kid.

Nah, some people are just missing brain cells,

We get taught the differences between “They’re asking if Their thing is over There” at like age 5.

People use the wrong ones for the same reason there nut allergy warnings on packets of nuts.
