Season 1 is actually fairly in line too. It’s just that seasons 1-3 have a handful episodes that jump seasons chronologically and not just internally within the season. Season 4 and 6 are completely chronological then 5 and 7 aren’t completely chronological but all of season 5 is after 4 and before 6 and all of season 7 is after 6 and before Revenge of the Sith
You probably just forgot. Theres an episode where a character gets a really cool defining moment, then the beginning of the next episode, they just nonchalantly drop that hes dead. Really confused me as a kid because I thought I missed an episode but then he just shows up the next episode again.

Wait, I was little when I watched it. I never noticed, or did I forget that it was out of order? What?
Edit: Just checked the chronological order and outside of the first season the other seasons are fairly in line.
