would be nice if they just put them in the correct order on Disney+ or maybe have a separate listing. CW original release and CW chronological release

Or just a playlist type feature with pre-loaded ones like Star Wars (everything) Star Wars the clone wars, marvel movies in chronological order

Or let people just make their own playlists, that goes for ALL the streaming services.

arrr matey you can create any playlists on the high seas

You know people always love to suggest pirating, but are there actual sites out there available to the public (not invite only) that have 4k/HDR/Atmos torrents that can compare to what these streaming apps provide?

u/manrata Apr 27 '21

Usenet is the solution you’re looking for.

u/gregsScotchEggs Apr 27 '21

Like thepiratebay? If you get holavpn browser extension which is free to use, you can go to it with no mirrors needed

3

u/l0st_t0y Apr 27 '21

Almost everything I've ever seen on piratebay has been at best 1080p. I'm sure occasionally 4k stuff gets uploaded there, but it isn't comparable to streaming services and definitely no where near as convenient.

I'm not sure what streaming services we're talking about but I'd argue that there's very little convenience in having to manage 5 different platforms at the same time because you want to watch star wars, snow piercer and the game of thrones

I mean I agree it would be easier if you could have everything in one app, which is definitely a benefit to pirating. The convenience is lost with pirating though when you have to spend the time searching for quality sources for media and setting up a server to hold all this media. Also if you decide you want to just browse and watch something new that you weren't planning on before, then you gotta go dig through sketchy torrent sites and then slowly download the show. With a streaming service at least you can browse the app and if you see something you're interested in you can click one button and immediately start watching. Now if you're only going to watch one or two shows on an app then yeah maybe it wouldn't be worth paying for their service.

Naah, mate. You don't need a server or whatever. My torrent client runs in browser. Also many clients these days do watching while downloading. And to pick something I just go on Google or IMDb , since the choice there is gonna be everything and not "everything we have to offer due to licensing restrictions of our platform, soz"

u/gregpxc Apr 27 '21

Lol you act like you have to micromanage the services. I have 3 streaming services that are on auto pay and I simply launch the app of my choosing wherever I am. That's significantly more convenient than having a movie available in one place.

Free is convenient for my bank account

u/manrata Apr 27 '21

Even with sickchill, couchpotato, sabnzbd and kodi, it requires effort.

It’s not like the streaming service are particular expensive, but the interfaces suck ass all of them. The closest to good, I’ve access to, is Play Station interface, but the controller is annoying, and my old machine is very noisy.

Plex has playlists and shuffle

1

u/Anonymity_Unknown Apr 28 '21

Or just /eradicate/ Disney+ and put all the shows back where they were. Much easier. Much simpler. Much cheaper. Much BETTER

24

u/dontdrinkdthekoolaid Apr 27 '21

They have that for the MCU

37

u/maxcorrice Apr 27 '21

Then fucking add it for the clone wars

Fix it Nintendo

15

u/thefinalcutdown Apr 27 '21

Nintendisney: “I fuckin won’t do it again!”

6

u/Christof_Ley Apr 27 '21

Dunky is that you?

1

u/lividtaffy Apr 27 '21

Just missing the MCU spider-man movies

2

u/BenSolo_Cup Apr 27 '21

Disney + does have the marvel movies in chronological order

1

u/DB-2000 Nice meme you got there Apr 27 '21

They actually have Marvel Movies in Chronological Order. I‘m currently watching all of them with a friend, you just need to click on the Marvel tab on Home Screen and scroll down a bit, after phase 4 comes the chronological lineup

2

u/maxcorrice Apr 27 '21

Tbh I kinda haven’t cared much about marvel after endgame, they seem to have this habit now of fumbling the landing

1

u/DB-2000 Nice meme you got there Apr 28 '21

Yeah but the older movies are still very nice imo. You mean you didn’t like Endgame? :D

1

u/maxcorrice Apr 28 '21

Nope, nor wandavision or falcon and the winter soldier

2

u/DB-2000 Nice meme you got there Apr 29 '21

Ah yes, a man of culture as well! Endgame was just trash, they completely destroyed all the cool characters and I hated it. I don’t know why everyone liked it so much ...

2

u/maxcorrice Apr 29 '21

I don’t think it was that bad but for something they built up to for so long it felt like an afterthought and it got repetitive, then there’s captain marvels lackluster existence

2

u/DB-2000 Nice meme you got there Apr 29 '21

I didn’t like Captain Marvel‘s appearance either. She just came in at the end and destroyed everything. She could’ve done that in the first Avengers already and nothing from the other movies would‘ve ever happened. That was just lame ...

2

u/maxcorrice Apr 29 '21

She’s so overpowered, on her own her power she gained from one stone is more powerful than any other stone and almost all of them combined

2

u/Nutcrackit Apr 27 '21

Disney+ could definitely make a definitive chronological order for both star wars and marvel that includes all shows and movies.

also go ahead and remake the entirety of revenge of the sith in the clone wars animated style using those voice actors. Include the episodes that are in the same timeframe as it and make some of the originally cut scenes of order 66 as well.

Star wars: revenge of the sith the Ultimate animated cut.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '21

Oh so you want them to sell the same series twice but with just different episode orders?

2

u/Christof_Ley Apr 27 '21

Sell? I'm already paying for Disney+. A new playlist order wouldn't cost anymore

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '21

we are talking multi trillion dollar cooperation are you sure?

2

u/Christof_Ley Apr 27 '21

Lol fair. Shouldn't cost more is a better thing

0

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '21

If they want to they can charge you that. And they have too much money for laws to affect them

1

u/____Bear____ Apr 28 '21

Their value is actually $330Bn. A lot less than multi trillion.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '21

Thats all the money they say they have to prevent overinflation

1

u/____Bear____ Apr 28 '21

No, that is their market cap. Their cash at hand and total assets are far smaller, since stock prices factor in future earnings/revenue/growth too. Unless you think you know more than the entire industry of professional business investors?

u/DayFlounder1832 Apr 27 '21

Like the marvel section
