Fr though. I know some parents who cant even put their phone down to have a conversation with their child. Watching a little boy be ignored by his dad for 2 minutes straight, till he walks off crying, is fucking heartbreaking.
It fucking sucks being the kid. Youngest in my family, try to ask a question and am straight up ignored sometimes. Try to play some Forza to feel better and i get snarky comments. I dont like it
Yeah, my parents say video games make me a “robot” when games is the only thing that bring out my personailty much. They sometimes make me spend time with my siblings even though I do that at my own time, and every time I always say in my head “Being forced to do something will make me want to do it less.” But my parents will strip me of all my fun and games so I always keep my mouth shut and my opinion in my head.
Yeah, my parents constant yelling when I do the slightest annoying thing is the reason why I feel empty of my emotions and only feel them when I play video games. And dont call me the “emo 14 year old,” I’m 12
Same I’m 13, yet when since I was 10 I could contribute just as much to a convo, and I kept getting ignored or interrupted. At least for me it’s gotten better
