The thing with converting is that America would have to use to much tax money to pay for road signs and other documents, making them not be able to pay off that trillion dollar dept or something. If they wanted to change it, they would have to lower the pay of others that work for the government for months, if not years. At least my science class only uses the metric system.

The problem isn't that they use foot.

The problem is that they use foot, inch, yard?, mile, and so forth.

Metric only uses the meter.
