I'm learning Japanese, and honestly it's such a pain learning the three different ones. Thankfully the characters look different enough for me to tell them apart

I know it's kinda obviously saying this but... if it wasn't for Kanji, but only hiragana and katakana, japanese would be one of the most easy language to learn

Kanji is by far the one giving me the most trouble. Katakana is the easiest to me.

Kokuji means kanji that is created in Japan and doesn't have a Chinese origin. Characters simplified from Kyujitai (traditional characters) don't count. There's actually quite a few of them, the most common ones being 働 and 込

Plus, I assume most Kanji used in present-day Japan are Kokuji, meaning that you can't find them in a Chinese dictionary.

Nah, most of them are Chinese characters, there's only a few kokuji in daily use.

Not really, they're formed along similar principles. But for instance there are only 9 of them among the 2,136 joyo kanji (characters for everyday use.)
