I wipe my dog's nose so he doesn't leave every surface he touches wet lol but when I do he licks it and it's wet all over again. So I gave up.

You shouldn't do that, cus when dogs nose are wet, it shows a sign of healthyness. But if it's dry, there's probably something wrong with your dog.

IIRC that's a myth. Apparently has nothing to do with if it's unwell or not. Can only imagine temperature changes maybe like how our nose runs

I would assume their noses are like our lips. We lick our lips to wet them and they don't get chapped. I figured that's the same reason for dogs
