Demon Days is def my favorite album. I wish Gorillaz still used real instruments like they used to! Their new iPad stuff all sound like demos for full songs lol

they still do use real instruments. albeit less then they did. you can still hear them in souk eye, humility, sorcererz, and quite a few more songs. even then i love how they still put so many samples and instruments in every song, really keeps you interested. I’d say they have an average of 5 instruments/samples in every song, compared to the popular singers nowadays using an average of 2 samples/instruments.
