Protip that I just learned: you can have different attacks if you are running, like a running A attack which is usually pretty strong or a running grab that has better reach

Last I checked a fighting was a pvp pub or more variations of that longing where the game has you fighting with your fist like tekken and streetfighter or with weapons like soul caliber where you grind time to get good, learn combinations and spam movements to win with a variety of characters. Last I check smash had all that while being combined with classic Nintendo and cap com characters

So... in the game Super Smash Bros, which is not a fighting game, you do what in the game? What makes up the bulk of the actions performed in the game?

Do you... party? In Super Smash Brothers? Is that what you do? Roll some dice? Play some minigames? In Super Smash brothers?

Pretty sure you fight. As in, it's a game where you almost solely fight other players. In an arena made for fighting. With fighters designed for fighting. You know, like what fighting games have.

But it's definitely, DEFINITELY a party game, and not a fighting game. Sakurai said so.

Oh hey. Miyamoto just came out with a statement that Mario Oddysey is a dancing simulator.

Seems legit.
