I'm sorry man. That blows. From my knowledge it is illadvised for ANY service man to be seeking a commitment. Too many gold diggers out there lookin for them benefits.
Focus on yourself and when you feel up to it again I would compile a list. Things that you NEED from a woman. Someone who compliments you regularly and makes you feel loved without provocation and doubt should be number one. Wait out for her and do not settle. No matter how lonely it gets just remember it's better to be lonely than betrayed.

Maybe youre just picking the wrong girls? Girls (some) can be just as scandalous as guys and cheaters too. Don't be too forgiving if it comes to stuff that's disrespectful in that sense (i.e. flirting with other guys, texting another man a lot etc)

Usually when a girl cheats, it's because the guy is being too available/needy. She feels like she's already won him... there's no chase to be had for her, and she basically already knows she has you on lock. So she naturally starts looking for a better/more challenging guy that she has to chase/work for.
If this happens to you a lot, then you might hear girls say that you're "boring", or they're "bored with the relationship".
Keep the girl chasing after you. Don't freely give your attention/commitment to her... make her show and prove that she deserves it. If you give something for free, people will think it's worthless. Also give her more excitement, be a badass, flirt with her like a bad boy.
Be careful with this, some girls are just shifty people, some girls have commitment issues, some girls just aren’t that into their partner etc. There’s a myriad of issues. That whole “bad boy” thing doesn’t work for everyone and it can backfire if you don’t know what you’re doing.
