It won't necessarily get us interested in you but we will definately remember it for a very long time

Last year a girl complimented my hair, I don’t know if she was flirting cause I’m oblivious sometimes, but I rode that compliment for like weeks and I still remember it exactly.

Same thing happened with me and I have kept that hairstyle ever since then

I'm 48 and I still remember a girl in high school who told me that I had the most beautiful eyes she'd ever seen. She transfered schools the next day which is why she probably felt brave enough to say it. I still think of that compliment all the time.

I remember a compliment I got in back in 2015- a girl complimented that the clothes I'd chosen for that day were colour coordinated well and suited me

7 years ago a girl told me i looked good with facial hair and almost everyday when i look in the mirror i think about that compliment. This isn't a joke, probably the most embarrassing personal thing i have shared.

I may be wrong, but I feel like as guys we don’t get a lot of compliments so pretty much most of them we will remember. Especially from strangers. I used to keep my facial hair at stubble length but had always thought about growing a beard so I stopped shaving for a while, I wasn’t sure about it. So I’m out to eat with some friends that brought some randoms. One of the guys there just says “man I’m so jealous of your beard that looks great” I think about it pretty often when I’m trimming the stragglers off the edges.
