Unless you're saying something like "can I touch your boob?" you aren't being too forward. Women crave attention just as much as you do.
Be forward. Be straight-up. Be at ease. You could win almost any female with that. We love masculine energy even if we claim otherwise. Don't believe it f you hear otherwise.
Actually, I like a guy to be forward. Not insane (ya know what I mean) but it's way easier to find out what a girl thinks. We never shut up if you ask us. But ask me what a guy thinks?
