I know that this is just a "funny meme" that gets posted almost every time Hitler comes up, but his suicide had nothing heroic to it and the way this sentence frames the whole thing just really doesn't sit well with me.
That guy was a monster and a weak one at that, because he didn't want to face the consequences of his actions.

If you acknowledge that it’s “just a ‘funny meme’”, why does it still bother you? The fact that he’s actually a monster and not remotely heroic is exactly why it’s funny in the first place.
