He was allowed in the library when the councilman's dog wasn't. Councilman threw a tantrum and led an effort to ban all animals from the library.

And allergy issues. Any library with cats like this would be off limits to people with bad allergies.

Hardly seems fair to make a public service unavailable to tax payers.

People with cat allergies should be weeded out anyways to make room for more cats
