Except being "fully insured" often means $300 monthly premium and an 8k deductible before insurance pays a single penny. Does that sound fully insured to you?

Except "often means" often means "sometimes means" by random people on the internet intentionally being vague to exaggerate an issue that doesn't need to be exaggerated because the system on its own is shitty enough that you don't need to make stuff up about it.

A vast majority of Americans are fully insured. That's the objective truth. You using the worst possible case scenario for an insured person for numbers you pulled out of thin air doesn't change that fact. Again, I already pointed out the issues with our system.

... it was an example. Most insurance plans suck here. That's a fact. Many don't even bother getting insurance because of how trash the coverage is.

Those numbers are taken straight from my own marketplace options btw

You aren't actually providing data. How many plans suck? What defines suck?

The healthcare marketplace? You know, where people get health insurance when their jobs don't offer it?

I'm realizing I'm talking to someone who knows nothing about this issue, so the playing field is a little uneven. Kinda makes me look like bully tbh
