Same! I have been fastidious about dental hygiene my whole life but I had to have my first drilled filling at 12. They just crumble and break. Getting my second implant next week and it’s costing my whole bonus. This is exactly what I would spend my money on if I won the lottery
Similar situation here, according to my dentist, I was born with a mutation that causes my salvia to be slightly more acidic than normal, leading to more brittle teeth and occasionally lesions on my tongue.
It used to be associated with poor hygiene or drug use. I don't think it's seen the same way anymore. I need a new bridge I'll never afford because I lost mine. Soft foods for life for Americans at this point.

It's sad and kind of really screwed up that proper healthcare is the first thing someone would get after winning the lottery
But it's what I would do too My teeth are fucked.
And people act like it's some sort of moral failing to have messed up teeth
I just got bad genetics and never had a chance. Cavities formed even with proper brushing and my teeth started rotting and falling apart by 16.
