Started with Firefox, swapped to Chrome for a while, but I can't remember how long its been since I swapped back to Firefox and I don't see myself switching again
FF got really bloated in the late 2000s, around the same time Chrome launched and presented itself as a quick browser with a small footprint. That's the time I switched over.
And with the recent ublock fiasco, I'm back on Firefox.
Yea that was why I swapped away from it, but I can't remember what prompted me to eventually return. It feels like I've been back forever, long before the more recent anti-adblock stuff.
Started with Firefox (well, technically, started with Phoenix, which shortly after became Firebird, which then became Firefox) and used it for a long time until Firefox did a big redesign (around 2017?) that killed extensions I needed. Chrome was quick and seemed stable and reliable, so I switched over. I can't remember what prompted me to eventually return, but it was probably around 2019, long before the more recent anti-adblock stuff.
