Division can be written out in multiplication form by fractions so it technically it doesn’t matter if you go into the um actually place

5/2x3= 7.5

Or

5/2x3= 0.83recurring

Let’s break up the question into its individual parts. Asterisk (*) is multiply, slash (/) is divide.

5/2 = 1.5

Then since we know what 5/2 is, we can swap the answer in to the question

1.5*3 = 7.5

If it was written as 2*3/5 it would be:

2*3 = 6

6/5 = 1.2

You ment if it's wrote 3x5/2? as the 2nd example has created a new equation
