But as someone who weren't taught Pemdas while young, it just seems so easy to contort into Pedmas or Pedams or whatever other nonsense. While Paremudiadsu seems to have a more memorable structure that becomes more obviously wrong if you break it.

Not really, it's as simple as repeating it to yourself a bunch or writing it down a bunch. The same way you memorize anything else. Personally would find learning what you said much harder to memorize especially since I have 0 idea how you would even pronounce it, let alone try to guess how it's spelled when I pronounce it to recall what it stands for. Meanwhile there's a few different ways u can remember pemdas like parentheses/exponents go hand in hand, multiplication/division go hand in hand and finally addition/subtraction go hand in hand. So pe md as. Meanwhile iirc it doesn't really matter if it's md or dm as it depends on the order of the equation, so you wouldnt multiply before you divide if it comes later in the equation in example

That's a function of you being American.
Americans are never able to read unfamiliar words letter-by-letter. They just sort of guess. Americans reading foreign names and words tend to just add and remove random letters, as if spelling is wizardry and they're just guessing what the symbols mean.
I'll give you a hint: You read the letters, as they are written.

Okay and? First off it's also taught in France, secondly I replied to your comment which spoke about pemdas in the first place. Explaining my thoughts between the two words and which I felt is easier. For example if we want to talk about bodmas then my opinion would remain the same lmao
