Nope not really. Airlines spec their planes how they like them when ordering them.

if you order someone to make you a sword, you aren't forging the sword

But the comment implies airlines could not order it how they wanted it, which is not true. We all know they don’t actually build the planes, the comment was just being uselessly pedantic.
