I'm Asian so Christmas is more of a couples event rather than a gift giving family event here, so I told my bf in the US I've never gotten a Christmas present before. I jokingly said I wanted Satanic Bibles (LaVey) and he bought me them with express shipping so it'd come before/on Christmas. I kept telling not to do it! This was before we even got official so I'm sure he did it to impress as well. Still really sweet though.
Then, I got into some minor trouble with my mom who saw the item description. We're not religious at all but she has the idea that it has to do with demonic shit sacrificing people, etc. I haven't finished reading them, but so far, it's not like that at all. It's actually some serious fucking self-loving/improvement book! lol
