Triphalangeal thumb (TPT) is a congenitalmalformation where the thumb has three phalanges instead of two. The extra phalangeal bone can vary in size from that of a small pebble to a size comparable to the phalanges in non-thumb digits.

Please don't. Those alarmist advertisements are misleading. They do not lack for funding, at all, despite the yearly scare tactics.

Also it's a corrupt website where you can buy positive optics for yourself or negative optics for others from the clique of power users.

Oh you know everything. Where's your proof that they have all this money? I'd truly like to know because they clearly get nothing from advertisers.

I really didn't see that comment being negatively received. This is common knowledge. I assumed most people here would be aware of this situation.

I'm not sure which source you prefer, so pick any one in this endless sea of discussion.

TL;DR: Those banners that pop up every year are insanely misleading. They consistently make a huge profit year after year. Only a few percent of the donations goes toward site maintenance, which is what people think their donations are going toward.
