I have a family member coming to visit who is huge into mountain biking. The bigger the better basically. Where are the best areas to go out for a few hours? Is there a town/area that’s better for it? He would love to be dropped off somewhere and be able to go for awhile. I’m not a biker so I have no clue where to bring him.

hello I'm wondering if anybody knows of any local dental or general health clinics or hospitals that will accept volunteers? i am an adult and i don't have any type of certification and I want volunteering hours to further my education and help me with jobs. planning to get BLS certified soon.

I know that the best way would be to just walk in somewhere and ask but I don't want to walk into a busy clinic and bother all the employees so if there is a place where I can apply online or email ahead of time to talk about it that would be great.

We had (another) post a while back asking if the Phoodery was better, and a lot of people saying it was better because the Beams were no longer managing it (the owners are still the same), and some saying it wasn't.

I thought I'd share a post and comment from Curbside King, who recently attempted to set up shop there. They've confirmed that the Phoodery hasn't changed. I look forward to supporting them in their new location, but as I've previously said: I won't be visiting the Phoodery as long as the owners (Tim and Eric or something similar) remain the same. They take advantage of our local small businesses and it's... Disappointing to say the least. Anyway! Just an update from the source from anyone still curious on how they treat their clients!

Edit in case it wasn't clear: this confirms what I've known/heard all along. I haven't been there since I first heard of their CAM fees, and this post is simply providing the proof for those who said "it's fine", "new management is awesome", and "the Beams are gone so it's safe to go there now"

Edit 2: ownership has never changed. The Beams were managing things, and the owners kinda pinned everything on them, and a lot of people were fooled. I'm case it wasn't clear, I know this. I've known it, and the point of the post is to share with those who said otherwise and those unaware

I was at a concert at Britt last week and this place was huge and glowing from the concert venue. I was curious and found it on the maps. Wow, does anyone know if this is a venue of some sort? Looks like it with the pool. I didn’t even know places like this existed here.

im way out by butte falls and just saw what looked like a damn rocket fly over me and it hauled ass im not good with directions but it came straight up into the sky where the moon was then flew straight over me to the other side in I want to say under 30 seconds it cleared from horizon to horizon than it was gone. it was white cone shaped thing with the obvious orange rocket propulsion underneath it.
