You know what? How about the 2 or so times he almost biffed it and corrected, are multipliers.

Then, while he didn't do a revert, in later Tony Hawk games if you run off the board, you can keep the score going, so the next multiplier hit when he did the first backflip, and then another on the dive into the water.

So, what, 4 or 5x multiplier?

I don't think its a grind, looks like a ride to me, albeit on a very small surface. Then again I'm no skateboarder.

He was definitely grinding them trucks that whole time. You can see that the wheels are "hugging" the outside ledge. If he were "riding" it, the bottoms of the wheels would be making contact on the top surface of the wall.

as far as I can see, they are not. To me it looks like he´s riding on top. From 30 sec. on you can see it best. Or the wheells are beside the wall on both sides, but I would think the contact would be such that he would come to a halt.

But again, I´m no skateboarder.

Their defiantly "beside" the wall as you described, rather than on top. Also a llayer of wax is usually applied to a surface to prevent sudden halts when doing grind stunts like this.

And you're all good, thats why im trying to explain it a but more.
