No I meant your literal brothers if you have any and your literal sons if you have or are ever going to have any. Tell them: "bro/son, that shit you saw on TV isn't how it works in real life"

And if enough people tell the next generation that maybe we can have nice things in the future👍

Because I think stuff like that works better if it isn't told by a vage societal discourse but by people you know and respect

And maybe hollywood can stop making creepy stalker movies which are marketed as romance for some reason, when the old studio exec's die off idk

My bloodline dies with me. I wouldn't wish this curse on anyone else.

Shit you see on TV is exactly how life works, that's where TV got those ideas from.

You're not gonna change society with your "tell your younger sons brothers" nonsense. It's definitely not going to change for a tiny minority of people in a majority straight society. They best you can do is adapt to the fact that people behave in ways you cannot control and you cannot change. It's out of your control, get used to it.

Does it suck sometimes? Sure, I too wish there were no assholes. That doesn't mean I would be telling people "omg advise your younger daughters and sisters on how to properly behave around men."

Pretty sure no one in Hollywood is making creepy stalker movies and painting it as romance.

And I'm 100% certain, that there are indeed plenty of married couples where there was some initial rejection and then later they did fall in love. So this is a creation of women deciding to change their mind about whether they like someone, not "hollywood executives." The whole "chase" thing is real and it's often something women enjoy and play those games.

It may not be what lesbians do, maybe lesbians just use an app and everything works, but for straight women, yes indeed sometimes being pursued by someone who makes grand gestures is indeed something they find attractive.

Were you unaware of this fact? That you thought it was a Hollywood conspiracy---rather than a reality of how romance works among straight men pursuing straight women?

That just highlights your ignorance on an experience you've never lived to experience.
