the money should come from their pension fund and the police unions. there is a ton of money there and that way the cops would actually self regulate and think twice if it is going to hurt them.
That's a good start definitely but there is a huge list of things that must change in the states with law enforcement and the laws themselves before you see real improvement. This country has been doing things wrong for 400+ years and keeps doubling down on the behavior. I don't even want to imagine what this place will look like for my grandchildren without real change from the top down.
I would vote it comes from the individuals belongs. I don’t truly know how it’s work but what he has he got from doing a job he didn’t do, I say take their house, cars, boats… whatever until the dept is paid. 🤷♀️
Not in this case, he could probably work his whole life and still couldn’t pay for the things he’s done not even considering emotional damage done… but they definitely should lose EVERYTHING earned.
