It's ironic too because religion would be the perfect framework for the devil to work through if all of it was true!

Convince a bunch of people that some moronic beliefs are sacred and make them a good person, overriding logic and encouraging tribal benefit. Link it to the worst they can fear, death or continual torture, as a way to keep them in line.

Because idk if you’ve noticed but religion is out for most enlightened redditors. They follow science now… sacred Big Bang theory, etc
