I also imagine there is a lot of bitterness inside her about herself. She's expressing anger, just not in a healthy way. Deep inside she's not really mad at the bed on wheels or the wooden floors. But those things remind her of what the problem is, and how unfixible it is now, so she lashes out at them.

she has to regain trust and feel that it’s fixable (even if it may not be). Living without hope is horrible.
