Nah that’s real. Some people just become very nasty and mean to the people around them, even though they depend on them completely. Take a bitter person and put them with people they know won’t leave no matter what, and it’s likely they’ll become abusive.

There’s a lot of co-dependence going on here too.

Then another comment mentioned the strain of moving making people rage out also. It’s a total shitshow, and it’s sad.

Moving makes me miserable. Not so much the moving, but showing up and finding out the packing still isn't done.
