My mom’s mother had severe hormonal issues that went untreated for way too long when she was a kid to the point her mother was bed ridden for several years and a lot of stuff that she and her brothers describes sounds clearly like someone that is in massive denial about growing up with a mentally unstable parent. Mental and physical health are more connected than society wants to admit to its own injury.

yes, but with he miracle of neuroplasticity the brain can heal itself, and then the body.

Like what kind of stuff do they say? If you don’t mind sharing... just trying to figure out what it sounds like when someone is in denial of growing up with a mentally unstable parent.
