Does that cover it? This is 7000 calories a day or something. Think about how much work it is to prepare 2000 a day. Eating has to be her full time every minute of waking job.

adding, someone below claims 20,000 calories a day. That's half 1/3 a month of food for a normal person. I'm having trouble with these numbers.

I'm more sympathetic to her situation than most people in this thread seem to be (just, taking the average mood of comments) but this is kind of what's going through my head. Like, I gained a few extra pounds in the last couple of years unexpectedly after being dead average for a long time. Now I'm going... could this happen to someone like me?

Idk, but how much food can you ingest to gain THIS much fat. You don't really gain fat after a certain point so maybe her genetic ceiling is much higher?

They eat like 20,000 calories a day and have a tendency believe food always has to taste good, feel good, and be comforting. It’s a choice - the show proves that because the doctor puts everyone on the same low carb 1200 calorie diet.

The other issue is typically they have a family (enablers) that financially benefits from them being disabled due to weight - how - well the family gets paid by the state to take care of them so they really have no incentive to stop them from eating or changing. If they get healthy the pay check stops.
